StairCASE: A Functional Design

INTERIOR DESIGN IDEAS : StairCASE

I'm a bookworm, and I love collecting books. So naturally, I need a bookshelf to store all my books. One thing I don't like about bookshelves, though, is they're usually tall and I can't reach the top shelf because I'm so short. If I were to buy a bookcase, I would choose one that is roomy, not occupying too much space in the room, and functional to boot.

This bookshelf designed by Danny Kuo, called the StairCASE, is all that and more. It combines efficiency and functionality with style. The bookshelf's last three bottom shelves can be pulled out to act as a ladder that allows you to reach the top easily. It's great for short people (like me!) because that way, we wouldn't need a chair anymore to reach the books in the topmost shelf. Isn't it great when our furniture designs grow with the time?
