Apparently, they met in the Internet and fell in love online, so as a tribute, they had their wedding cakes designed after the technology that brought them together in the first place. Isn't it romantic? I have to say the cakes look yummy, but isn't it kinda hard to get a slice off this creation? It's too pretty to ruin! I'm sure guests in the wedding are fascinated with this quirky idea. Best wishes to the couple!

I love babies. They are just so adorable. But since I'm not yet planning on having one myself, I think these baby dolls are the perfect substitute. Reborn baby dolls are hand-painted and even have individually rooted strands of hair! They look so real and lifelike they even weigh and feel like a real live baby. If you're passionate about babies and you don't have one yet, or can't have one, these dolls can really make you replicate the feeling. Although they're not as good as the real thing, but at least they're nearly as good, if you know what I mean. These dolls are already a popular collector's item. Don't they look creepy real? The artists who made them are ridiculously talented. I certainly wouldn't mind having one.

The Life Clock by Bertrand Planes, may just be an ordinary clock at first glance, but when you'll look closely, you'll notice that the numbers are high. That's because one rotation of the Life Clock is equal to the average lifespan of humans. It's slowed down 61320 times so that each minute equals a year.

Everybody has their own reaction seeing their life on a clock. Others might feel that it's hands are moving too fast, others may think it's too slow. For those who are age-conscious, this might be kind of depressing to look at. Nevertheless, it can be a good reminder that life is too short, and therefore, we should make every minute count.

Just when you thought you'll spend cold lonely nights alone without someone to warm you up, people like Francesca Lanzavecchia invent something that can potentially be a substitute for human warmth. LightMates are soft anthropomorphic pillows that are also warming lamps. They are capable of giving heat, light, and company. They come in different sizes and shapes to accommodate everyone's preference.

Personally, the big ones creep me out. They look like big intestines with a tail. The smaller ones are cuter and are great if you need something to warm you up on a cold, winter's night, and there's no one around to give you warmth. What do you think of these invention ideas?

At first glance, these fish flops grabbed my attention, because, well... they're fish! And I thought it was bizarre, but it gets worse. They don't just look like fish, they ARE real fish! Yes, you heard right. In fact, they're dead fish made into sandals. Yeah, yucky, right? They probably stink more than stinky feet. Who would want sandals made of dead fish? Then again, someone took the time to make this, so I guess there really are bizarre people out there who think these are cool invention ideas. If they like wearing dead fish flops, well... it's their call. As for me, I think I'll pass.
