iPosture: Sloucher's Gadget

INVENTION IDEAS : iPosture

Many of us slouch, whether we are aware of it or not. Poor posture is not only unattractive, it can also lead to lower back pains and makes the sloucher appear shorter. It also makes our bellies larger, and for women, it makes the breasts look smaller. Not a good sight!

It's a good thing, they've come up with a device that will help slouchers learn good posture. The iPosture is a nifty electronic device that automatically senses when your body slouches, and then it vibrates and alerts you, so you can straighten up and correct your posture. Just a little over an inch in diameter, these cool inventions are worn close to the skin and the user can wear them as a necklace pendant or even discretely attach them to the bra strap for girls.

WINS, or Wearable Intelligent NanoSensors is the secret behind iPosture. It's a microchip that monitors your posture a few times a second. Operating on a coin-sized battery, it can adapt to a wide range of activities and different body types. It's very easy to use, you can use it either standing or sitting, and you can reset it at any time. If you want to pause it, just push the button and hold it for 3 seconds. If you want to turn it off, just take it off and lay it on a table surface.

This is really good news for slouchers like me. This way we get to watch our postures every time. And the best thing is, most people won't notice that you have these little alerts coming from the device to correct your stance. You can wow your friends and family with your improved posture! Pretty cool, these things, huh?

Well thank goodness for this, there is a generation of young people that cannot stand straight these days.....it's not beneficial at all. I think this is a definite winner. Thanks for posting this.
